Mexican Native Horse

A popular, versatile little horse standing at around 15h.h. descended from
Spanish stock and containing Arab and Andalusian blood. It is also probable
that the American wild Mustang has had an influence on the breed. The Native
Mexican horse is extremely hardy and tough with strong limbs and feet. The
agility and stamina of the breed make it ideally suited for the Mexican
ranches where it is used as a saddle horse. The courage and athletic ability
of the breed may sometimes be seen in the Mexican bullring.
