Sokolsky

A popular farm workers light draught horse of north-east Poland. Being of a
strong constitution, it is an economical feeder and a powerful worker. These
attributes have caused the U.S.S.R. to breed the Sokolsky also.
The breed stands at between 15 to 16hh and is predominantly chestnut in
colour. It has a fairly large head; a good sloping shoulder; a short back
and body; powerful hindquarters; short strong legs with good bone. The
temperament is calm and amiable.
